Biography

An esteemed Ayurvedic doctor , teacher and Yoga philosopher , a devout participant of Seva on many areas of life, Doctor Terakanambi Nagappa Manjunath has a total of 36 years Ayurvedic medical practice and teaching Ayurveda. He has worked as a lecturer Venkataramana Ayurveda Collage, participated in Community Health and Development Project (CHAD)’ as a medical officer, in Nagoya, Japan’ taught yoga to doctors and staff of Kagami Hospital as well as school children of Aichi. Beside teaching yoga and Ayurveda, Doctor Manjunath worked as an officer in charge in the Traditional Systems of Medicine program at Voluntary Health Association of India. Since 2000’s, he has worked as a yoga teacher at several revered institutions such as Mahatma Gandhi Institute and Rabindranath Tagore Institute in Mauritius as well as to the prison officers in Mauritius Prison Services. 

He has over 30 years of work experience as a trainer in the field of Holistic and Community Health and since 2010’s, he’s been working more on consultancy area; designing, planning, and evaluation of community health projects and in collaboration of government and non-governmental organizations.
